That is not the case with this wine. The reason is that this is a French, Alsatian style that is known for being spicier and full-bodied. A magnificent wine that has great acidity and a complex, yet well-rounded flavor profile. This wine can be paired with so many different foods such as game, veal, pork and poultry which are supposedly better suited to red. Fermentation is achieved by indigenous yeasts (on the vine).
