<p>A spectacular Single Malt from Islay at incredible value.</p><p><em>Ian MacLeod & Company LTD </em>was founded in <em>1933 </em>as a Scottish Whisky broker — buying, selling, trading production lots from the major distilleries around Scotland. Over the years the company has grown quite a bit, including more than<em> three dozen house brands</em> and an untold number of private label offerings. Now owned by the <em>Russell family</em>, they run the gamut from Whiskies to Vodkas to Rums, but their core business is still Scotch Whisky.</p><p><em>Macleods Islay Single Malt</em> comes from<em> a secret distillery</em> in Islay, a place of seascapes and famous peaty drams. There’s been guesses this particular bottling might come from Lagavulin but we’re not here to guess, <em>we’re here to sip</em>. Peat, smoky, and robust with seaweed aromas, this one is bold with flavors of sea salt you’ll either love or love a little less.</p>
