On the nose, it offers inviting aromas reminiscent of honey, pear, peach, and apricot, which give way to notes of sweet almonds and a discreet hint of flint. On the palate, we recognize a Saumur of good volume with a fairly ample, rounded attack with a noticeable richness that is offset by a welcome freshness. The wine is dry, well-structured, and displays the character of the appellation on the aromatic level. The overall result is both convincing and elegant.
