<p>A blend of brandy matured for up to 12 years and muscat from the vineyards of Samos to produce an intense and flavoursome Greek brandy. </p><p> In 1888 Spyros Metaxa, by blending only the finest matured wine distillates with the selected sun soaked grapes of Attica, created this distinctive spirit giving it a unique smooth and mellow taste, neat, or on the rocks. </p><p> The exact formula has remained a closely guarded secret ever since. </p><p> Radiant amber in colour, the nose displays dried flowers, dried fig, chocolate and orange peel. Lush and velvety with notes of dried fruits and toasted oak.</p>
