<p>A unique and interesting Israeli Single Malt with 40% of the Spirit aged in specially prepared Spanish Sherry casks. </p><p><em>Milk & Honey Distillery</em> is the creation of serial tech entrepreneur <em>Gal Kalkshtein</em> and his team — Amit Dror, Simon Fried, and Roee and Naama Licht. Together they opened<em> the first distillery in Israel</em>. They drew up the plans in 2012 and started production in <em>2014</em>. Their first products hit the shelves in 2016 and in May of 2017 they announced the first Single Malt produced in Israel — The M&H Classic. Today, their range includes New Make, two Gins, Roots Herbal Liqueur, and a handful of Single Malt versions. </p><p>Milk & Honey introduced the Elements Series in 2020. Each one is an <em>exploration</em> of applying classic wood aging techniques with an Israeli flare. <em>Milk & Honey Elements Sherry Cask</em> is their signature “Classic” Single Malt with 40% of the Spirit aged in specially prepared <em>Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks.</em> “How” are they specially prepared you ask? Well, they traveled to Spain and arranged for them to make<em> kosher Sherry casks,</em> which makes Milk & Honey Elements Sherry Cask<em> the only </em>kosher Sherried Single Malt in the world as far as we can tell.</p><p>This<em> Gold Medal </em>winner has a fruity and floral profile and is bottled at a perfect 46% ABV in its natural color without chill filtering.</p>
