<p>A barrel-aged version of the award-winning classic.</p><p>Monkey 47 is distilled by <em>Christoph Keller </em>for <em>Alexander Stein of Black Forest Distillers</em>. Monkey 47 is very much a novelty within the Gin Universe, unique because of its low production and a real difference in style and taste.</p><p><em>Monkey 47 Barrel Cut Gin </em>is actually a<em> barrel-aged version </em>of the award-winning Monkey 47 Gin. This popular Gin was aged in <em>handmade mulberry barrel</em>s from the Black Forest that were slightly toasted. Each year, they only produce a couple of batches. Expect a <em>dry and complex Gin</em> that manages to bring some softness with its delicately sweet and fruity notes that complement the classic juniper, herbs, and spices. Savor on the rocks but we wouldn’t say no to a delicious G&T, either.</p>
