Mylonas is a small family-run winery founded in 1917. Since 2000, the business has been run by three brothers; Antonis, Tasos and Stamatis. Together they took over the winery from their father, modernising their production and marketing. Their philosophy focuses on indigenous varieties, tradition and the foremost – family. The vineyard is located in Laureotiki, in the region of Keratea and belongs to the broader wine-growing zone of Mesogaia, a historic place famous for its wine since the time of ancient Greece and the symposiums of Plato, Socrates and Aristotle. At an altitude of 200-350m., embraced literally by the sea, these elements give to the vineyard a blessed breeze ideal for the perfect ripening of the grapes. The grapes are hand-picked and placed into small crates. After the harvest, the grapes are taken immediately into the winery where the grapes are cooled at 8 °C, destemmed and pressed. Static settling and fermentation at controlled temperature (17 °C) in small stainless-steel tanks. Before the end of the fermentation the wine is bottled. The fermentation ends in the bottle and left on the lees for four to five months. Disgorgement by hand.On the palette firstly we feel stone fruits like peaches and, then, all the tropical hints come on stage, full of mango, banana and pineapple. The acidity is crispy and the aftertaste fruity. Preferably, have it fresh. Serve at 6-8°CMylonas Pet Nat Savatiano Peloponnese | Gusto Wines
