<p>Brick red/tawny in colour, with delicate nutty aromas and a hint of dried fruits. On the palate, very well balanced with a youthful fruity, luscious character, which integrates well with a long spirity finish.</p><p>Part of the Niepoort family’s boundary-pushing Nat’Cool project, this wine comes from Quinta de Baixo in the Minho region. Niepoort, founded in 1842, has long been known as a small but visionary Port house, now led by fifth-generation siblings Dirk and Verena Niepoort. What began as a niche operation has grown into one of Portugal’s most respected names, producing everything from traditional Ports to expressive natural wines across the Douro, Bairrada and Dão.
