<p>Not your grandfather’s Gin. A subtle choice. </p><p>Distillery No. 209 is located at <em>Pier 50 in San Francisco</em>, California. The only distillery in the World built over water, they say. Originally housed in a barn in Napa Valley, the distillery has enjoyed a San Francisco rebirth, thanks to food and wine enthusiast Leslie Rudd of Dean & DeLuca and Rudd Oakville Estate Winery.</p><p>Under the supervision of distiller Arne Hillesland, No. 209 small-batch Gin is <em>distilled five times</em> from red corn grain spirit in a custom-built alembic copper still and blended with <em>botanicals from around the World</em>. The plan is to make a <em>Gin that reflects the heritage</em> of small batch hand-crafted distilling but is a unique and modern 21st century spirit.</p>
