<p><em>Nolet’s Silver Dry Gin is a silky-smooth, modern Gin that will earn its place on your top shelf. </em></p><p>“Proper” Gins are usually associated with the UK and Jenever, it’s rustic cousin, with Holland. Well, Nolet’s is based in <em>Holland </em>and Gin is what they’ve made… for<em> more than 300 years.</em> Their motto is: <em>“The Finest Gins,”</em> and they have earned that moniker. Their current Gin line-up includes three Gins: Silver, Reserve, and Heritage. </p><p>The distillery also produces Kettle One Vodka and a few other brands. They help smaller shops with production, but they keep that work low profile. The point here is: these guys have tons — well, centuries — of <em>experience </em>and are <em>respected and trusted </em>by the entire Spirits community. </p><p><em>Nolet’s Silver Dry Gin</em> is a <em>premium,</em> <em>modern Gin</em>. Juniper defines most Gins, and some classic Gins (here’s looking at you, London Dry!) really hit you in the face with enough juniper, pine & resin flavor to leave a mark. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want in your Martini, but Nolet’s Silver Dry Gin doesn’t <em>scream PINE FOREST </em>in your face in a brutal manner.</p><p>Like many <em>modern </em>style Gins, it only <em>whispers juniper </em>and pairs it with a <em>bouquet of roses and fresh fruits</em>. Sipping it neat or on the rocks is fun, especially if tannins aren’t your best friends. It’s also bottled at an impressive 47.6% ABV, which complements the floral notes rather well. </p><p>The <em>Negroni </em>we made out of it was absolutely fantastic… and <em>silky smooth</em>.</p>
