Generous and dense fruit marks the youth of this wine. Blueberry, blackberry, and blackcurrant compete with raspberry. Fullness and volume, the crispness and finesse of the tannins confirm a well-enveloped structure. The elegance of Pinot Noir is admirably expressed by the combination of gravelly soil and grapes. Over time, it retains its finesse and freshness, enriched with new flavours, rediscovering cherry, sloe, liquorice, caramel, and some very fine vegetal notes. A whole evolving towards nuances of meat, game, and smoke.Critic’s Tasting Note:”One of five premier crus produced by this 24-acre estate, this wine comes from one of the more familiar vineyards in this appellation.
