<p>ORGANIC / VEGAN / LOW SULPHITE</p><p>An elegant and powerful take on the juicy and fresh Frankovka grape – otherwise known as Blaufränkisch. You get classic varietal flavours of sour cherry and rose which have been lifted by a 10 month maturation in oak. Dark red in colour, with flavours of cherry, cranberry, smoke, and a nice savoury earthiness. It’s incredibly concentrated with a lovely structure on the palate, which is undercut nicely by the bright acidity.</p><p>Ota Ševčík is known for crafting impeccably balanced wines that are aged in either oak or acacia barrels. He’s been involved with vineyard work and since bottling his first vintage in 1992, he has consistently produced reds, whites and oranges that consistently rank amongst the finest in the Czech Republic. Hailing from the South Moravia region, Ota takes pride in showcasing the unique terroir of his wines with the belief that the essence of great wine starts lies in the vineyard.
