The varietal breakdown is 55% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot with 30% new oak.Pauillac is one of the four rockstar parishes of the Medoc along with St-Estephe, Margaux, St-Julian. These are most famous appellations in Bordeaux, and therefore the world.
