<p>Based on the island of <em>Mauritius</em>, Pink Pigeon is a Rum brand called after a rare bird of the same name. The Medine Distillery is the oldest on the island, having been producing Rum since <em>1926</em>. The molasses used by Pink Pigeon comes from sugar cane grown and harvested on site. </p><p>Pink Pigeon Rum is an infusion of three different botanicals, <em>vanilla</em>, <em>orange peel</em> and <em>aromatic orchid petals.</em> This gives the characteristically sweet liquid a floral and tangy appeal that works well with the syrupy delights of the thick molasses. The no ago statement gives it a smooth and easy going mouth feel.</p>
