The best south-facing location combined with the lime-rich, sandy clay soil give this bright ruby-red wine its taste: an elegant play of light spices and roasted aromas, red berries, sour cherries an delicate tannins.Grape variety:Pinot noir (Blauburgunder) – South Tyrol DOC.Production area:Renon – Atzwang/Campodazzo, South Tyrol. South-facing slopes at approx. 450 m a.s.l. on 45% slope. A careful eye and caring hands ensure that the quality wines flourish in the southernmost reaches of the Eisack Valley. Red wine grapes grow on the sunny, terraced, south-facing slopes of volcanic origin; white varieties thrive in the airy southeast-facing locations. The Ebner quality wines from the Eisack Valley are largely trained on a 40-year-old pergola system, whose root system ensures that the grapes are ideally supplied with nutrients even in dry periods and their vitality is maintained through gentle pruning.
