He was the city’s mayor and he developed the town’s first public drinking water system. His son, <em>Oscar Planat,</em> followed in his father’s footsteps and took over the company. He also became the mayor of Cognac at some point. Impressive lineage, right. Today, Planat the brand offers a range of Cognac that are most adored by revered mixologists.</p><p><em>Planat Overproof </em>is the first Overproof Cognac to be created. It was made in collaboration with Adam Caron, a bartender and manager of<em> “Les Marquises bar and restaurant”</em> in <em>Bordeaux</em>. Created with mixology in mind, this blend clocks in at cask strength of 65%. Greeting with intense aromas and a bold yet elegant palate, this unique Cognac will hold its ground in your wildest cocktail creation. </p>
