<p>A special Italian Gin made by an old family from Veneto.</p><p><em>The Poli family</em> from <em>Schiavon </em>is an old family from the <em>Veneto region</em> in <em>Italy </em>with roots in the regions dating back to <em>1400</em>. In 1898, <em>GioBatta Poli</em> opened the distillery and began distilling Grappa with a mobile alembic still. You can imagine the connection and knowledge of the region’s Spirits the family has with a long history like this one. Today, they only choose fresh local ingredients they distill in <em>their artisanal stills</em> with respect and masterful skills.</p><p><em>Poli Marconi 46 Gin</em> is crafted from juniper berries, rosemary, mint, basil, thyme, cardamom, and coriander. This Italian Gin is artisanally crafted in <em>small batches by Jacopo Poli</em> in a special artisanal still. This distinct Gin smells just like the sun and the sea on the nose with rosemary, basil, and thyme aromas. The juniper flavors are supported by coriander, cardamom, and fennel: best savored on the rocks but it really <em>performs well in every drink.</em></p><p><u>Smartass Corner:</u><em>Named after Guglielmo Marconi who was an Italian genius that invented the radio telegraph and won a Nobel prize for Physics in 1909, Marconi is also the street where the distillery is still located in Schiavon. 46 is the proof the Gin is bottled at.</em></p>
