<p>Rum and Whisky, mmm…</p><p><em>Oliver Juanillo</em> founded a sugarcane and tobacco plantation in Cuba in the 19th century. Quickly thereafter <em>followed a distillery</em>, which operated successfully until 1959, when Cuba was in the midst of the revolution. The founders fled with their <em>know-how</em> into exile to the Dominican Republic. There they found the conditions to produce <em>high quality Rum</em> to be even better. Puntacana Rum is one of their ranges, which is named after the <em>Punta Cana Beach Resort</em> in the Dominical Republic, the self-proclaimed <em>Heaven on Earth</em>.</p><p><em>Puntacana Tesoro 15YO Malt Whisky Finish</em> is 15 year old Rum that was finished matured in ex-Scotch casks from the <em>Tomatin</em> distillery. This imparted some <em>neat peat</em> on the Rum, making it really de-li-cious.</p>
