The wine is made primarily from Touriga Nacional, Portugal’s flagship grape, blended with other local varieties like Touriga Franca and Tinta Amarela.Quinta do Vesuvio dates back to 1827 and has long been considered one of the finest vineyards in Portugal. It was originally owned by the legendary Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, a visionary woman who revolutionized winemaking in the Douro.
