<p>In 1952, Bollinger was the first champagne house to include the disgorgement date on its champagne label. This marked the birth of Bollinger RD (Récemment Dégorgé), which translates as “recently disgorged.” The 2007 vintage was disgorged after a proud 13 years on the lees with a dosage of just 3g. The RD is undoubtedly one of the 10 most important champagne labels of all time.</p>
