<p>Rum Ryoma was born in Shikoku, an island located south of the Japanese archipelago. </p><p>It is produced thanks to the oldest sugar cane plantation in the country, through its juice extracted by crushing. After distillation, the Rum Ryoma remains to age in oak barrels for 7 years, where the contact with the wood will give it its light golden hue. </p><p>The taste is definitely surprising given that it has little resemblance to traditional rum, its flavor in fact recalls that of brandy or sake with hints of vanilla and a caramelized citrus blend.</p>
