<p>Fresh, fruity Rioja from old vines, all raspberry and liquorice, with a touch of herbaceousness on the nose.</p><p>Comes from a selection of old vineyards, between 50 and 70 years old, located in Rioja Alta.</p><p>Hand picked during the second and third week of october and transported to the winery in boxes and small trailers. Fermentation take place in 25 ton stainless steel tanks under a controlled temperature below 25º C, and maceration is extended for 2 weeks. Aged in new French oak barrels between 3 and 4 months.</p><p>Will be lovely with roast lamb or beef with herbs such as thyme and rosemary or manchego cheese.</p>
