The palate is ripe and full with forest fruits, toasty oak and liquorice notes.About the ProducerThe Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo) vines are over 15yrs of age, and grow in a number of sites near Fuentecén. After a first selection of grapes in the vineyard, they undergo a pre-fermentation maceration for 3 days. Alcoholic fermentation takes over 14 days at 21- 23ºC. Malolactic fermentation is induced doing the latter stage of the alcoholic fermentation.
