<p>ORGANIC / VEGAN / LOW SULPHITE / NATURAL</p><p>This is not your average Beaujolais-Villages! The grapes come from 100 year old vines high in the hills of Beaujeu, and are semi-carbonically macerated before spending a year in old barrels, to add both delicate fruit characteristics and soft tannins. The wine is bright and fresh, with sour cherry flavours and slight sparkle on the tongue combining with underlying notes of earth, leather and a rustic funkiness.</p><p>Romuald Valot makes this gamay from old vines parcels in both Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly. He farms his land without chemicals and uses a plow to turn the soil. Whilst his approach to farming might be radical, the wines are anything but.
