Master Distiller and Blender is called Gabriella Ayala. In fact, the rum is an exciting blend of rums from El Salvador and Jamaica. 70% is 6 year old column still from Cihuatan, 15% is unstored still from Jamaican Hampden, Worthy Park and Monymusk, and 15% is 3 year old still from Worthy Park in Jamaica. Ron Colón High Proof Salvadoreno Rum has a scent of i.a. tropical fruit (banana and pineapple), raisins and plums, while the taste offers i.a. notes of tropical fruit, caramel, chocolate, almonds and apricot.
