But this is something completely different. <em>Ron Colón RumRye</em> is a blend of 50% Ron Colon Salvadoreño Dark Aged Rum and 50% American Straight Rye Whiskey. But it’s actually <em>more complex </em>than even that. The Rum half is a blend itself — a six year old Spanish style rum, unaged Jamaican pot-distilled and a 3YO Jamaican pot-distilled. The Rye in the blend is a four-year-old Straight Rye aged in<em> #4 car casks</em>. And they bottle this hybrid Spirit at a strong<em> 50%</em> ABV.</p><p><em>You’ve got to taste it for yourself.</em></p>
