<p>Hey, look at that 30 Year Old!</p><p><em>Oliver Juanillo</em> founded a sugarcane and tobacco plantation in Cuba in the 19th century. Quickly thereafter followed a distillery, which operated successfully until 1959, when Cuba was in the midst of the revolution. The founders of <em>Oliver & Oliver</em> fled with their know-how into exile to the <em>Dominican Republic</em>. There they found the conditions to produce high quality Rum to be even better. Oliver & Oliver produce the likes of <em>Puntacana</em>, <em>Tres</em> <em>Hombres</em>, and few other top Rums.</p><p><em>Quorhum 30 Year Old</em> is the oldest and most-limited expression in Quorhum’s family. It’s distilled in <em>traditional pot-stills</em> and aged in a solera system for up to 30 years. What’s surprising with this fantastic Rum, is that it hasn’t been overtaken by the oak. That coupled with the relatively low price for a Rum aged for this long makes it an <em>unbelievable catch</em>. </p>
