Dillon is the Rhum that has its origins way back in 1779 when Arthur Dillon, one of the protagonists of the American War of Independence, stopped in Martinique. His relationship with Marie-Laure Girardin, a rich Creole heiress, leads him to settle on the Caribbean island where, on the ruins of an ancient sugar refinery dating back to 1690, he creates his own distillery. Rhum Agricole Dillon is born from the fermentation and distillation of pure sugar cane juice which is still crushed today by mills powered by a steam engine dating back to 1922. The best sugar canes in Martinique are produced by plantations thanks to a geographical microclimate particularly favorable which earned it the nickname “Grand Cru”.</p><p>Dillon White is a Rhum rooted in the territory and produced with extreme rigor with sugar cane juice whose raw material comes from the best plantations in Martinique.</p><p>ORIGIN MartiniqueABV 55%FORMAT. 1 litre</p>
