Saffron Gin comes from a recipe <em>rediscovered </em>in the Boudier archives. Saffron Gin is the result of an alliance between Great Britain for its London Dry Gin, India for its spice used extensively in cooking and in religious ceremonies, and French know-how developed by Gabriel Boudier.</p><p>Copper in colour, this steeped Gin comprises <em>eight botanicals</em>: juniper, angelica seeds, iris, orange peel, lemon, fennel, coriander and… <em>saffron</em>. Normally Gins with higher numbers of botanicals are distilled until super smooth but this one goes against the grain, delivering <em>complex </em>battles take place between the <em>flavours </em>to vie for your attention.</p>
