Sangiovese–Gamla

<p>Sangiovese Gamla comes from 100% Sangiovese grapes aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. The vineyards are cultivated in an area that goes from the shores of the Sea of Galilee to the base of Mount Hermon, at an altitude that starts from 400 m asl up to 2100. The soil is volcanic and basalt in composition, the climate is quite temperate given the proximity to Mount Hermon.</p><p>Upon visual examination it shows a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The bouquet is enhanced by fruity sensations of raspberry, cherry and mandarin, with perceptions of potpourri, earthy hints and leather. This great Sangiovese is medium-bodied and structured, with a nice varietal character.</p><p>A glass to combine with important meat courses such as roasts, braised meats or game and game.</p>
