Welcome to the Thurnhof! The 3.5-hectare winery south of Bolzano was mentioned in a document in the 12th century and was owned by the clergy for centuries. When Ignaz Mumelter bought the farm in the mid 19th century, the winery was owned by the family and is now run by Andreas Berger in the sixth generation. On the Virglberg, Schiava, Lagrein, Cabernet Sauvignon and Goldmuskateller thrive on the warm porphyry soils, which impress with their elegance and minerality. At the bottom of the Bolzano valley, Goldmuskateller and Lagrein develop dimensions and intensity, while in the higher altitudes the Sauvignon develops breed and finesse.Thurnhof – Fam.
