<p>Savigny Les Beaune Blanc, Louis Latour, Cote de Beaune, Burgundy, France, 2020Grape: 100% Chardonnay, 30 year old vines on iron/clay/limestone soils, 45hl/ha yield, hand picked, barrel fermented with malolactic, aged 8-10 months in French oak (10% new)Savigny-les-Beaune Blanc is an extremely rare white wine counting for no more than 3.5% of the total production of the village. The best slopes are to be found north of Beaune near the village of Boulliand. It is on these upper vineyard sites that the Chardonnay thrives.This wine has a bright pale gold colour and its nose offers scents of yellow peach and almond paste.
