Shiraz–Yalumba

<p>Yalumba has been producing high quality wines for over 170 years in the historic home estate of its founder Samuel Smith.</p><p>This red is produced with vines from Barossa vineyards of varying ages with young (about 10 – 12 years old) and old (over 35 years old) vines grown in a wide range of different sites and soils; all of which contributes to the great variety of flavors offered by this Australian wine.</p><p>A rich and Moorish Barossa Shiraz made in a modern style that dresses the glass a deep purple-red colour. </p><p>It offers the nose an ample and aromatic bouquet with a prevalence of fruity aromas of currants and ripe plums, mixed with hints of anise, lavender, and nuances of dark chocolate.</p><p>On the palate it releases an aroma of licorice, violet and violet fruits in the mouth, followed by spicy notes of pepper which gives a generous and full-bodied sip.</p><p><p>We recommend pairing with not too mature cheeses and grilled, roasted or stewed meat dishes.</p>
