<p>Deep amber with gold edges in appearance, on the bouquet there are intense aromas of raisin, fig and coffee with rancio notes. The palate is bursting with rich, concentrated muscat flavours of raisins, coffee and caramel with beautiful rancio notes. Complex, powerful and luscious right through to the end. Liquid Christmas pudding!</p><p>This unique dessert wine is the product of late-harvested grapes, which have achieved maximum sweetness on the vine. They are pressed, partially fermented, then fortified with spirit while still on the skins, before transferring the wine to barrels for maturation. A dark nut-brown colour, with heady aromas of dried dates, raisins, pudding spices and hints of roasted hazelnuts. Intense flavours of treacle and cinder toffee linger on the rich, unctuous palate. Released when ready to drink, this wine is an excellent partner and match for fruit crumbles, toffee puddings or blue cheese.</p>
