<p>Tequila goes Whisky. </p><p><em>Sierra Milenario Tequila</em> is produced by Destilerías Sierra Unidas in Jalisco, Mexico. The distillery claims it <em>doesn’t use any machinery</em> to harvest the piñas from the Agave plants and they uncommonly <em>age some of their Tequilas out in the open</em>, to expose it to as much air as possible – which is quite contrary to the warehousing philosophies of most distilleries.</p><p><em>Sierra Milenario Extra Añejo Tequila</em> is double distilled and aged for 3 years in Durmast oak barrels (European oak). It is made from 100% Blue Agave and is <em>bottled at 41,5%</em>, an uncommon thing for Tequila.</p>
