<p>A smooth Vodka with minerals from San Fran Bay Area.</p><p>In 1992, <em>Maurice Kanbar</em> had a thought: what if you could make the perfect classic Martini? Obviously, the first thing you’d need is <em>top notch Vodka </em>but unfortunately, he couldn’t find one that would meet his high standards anywhere, so he what did he do? Kanbar founded <em>SKYY Vodka</em> in San Francisco and invented a proprietary process, which included <em>quadruple-distilling </em>and <em>triple filtering</em> the Vodka through California limestone to make it smoother than butter. Serious pioneer stuff.</p><p>But this was then. Ever the innovators, SKYY Vodka has been reimagined once again. This time, they added <em>minerals </em>from the <em>San Francisco Bay Area </em>for extra salinity and subtle minerality. Meaning? The nose greets with fresh and faintly fruity aromas while the already <em>exceptionally smooth palate </em>is clean and well, subtly salty, sporting those mineral flavors. It’s bottled at 80 proof in a blue bottle and pssst, if you make a Vodka & Soda, you won’t be disappointed. The juries at the <em>Beverage Tasting Institute</em> and at <em>San Francisco World Spirits Awards</em> weren’t disappointed either when they awarded <em>Gold </em>to SKYY Vodka in 2021.</p>
