Opened in <em>1897 </em>by <em>John Hopkins</em>, it is situated in a glen on the edge of the town of Rothes. It is currently owned by<em> Inver House Distillers</em>, and has been since 1992. Speyburn prides itself on its long history, and still uses much of the <em>original equipment. </em></p><p><em>Speyburn 10 Year Old </em>is an <em>award winning single malt</em> and a classic from the Speyburn Distillery. It is full bodied and packs a punch, ripe with citrus fruits and sumptuous malty flavours. The fantastic flavour comes from the <em>crystal clear water </em>sourced from Speyside.
