<p>A perfectly balanced Whiskey Sour cocktail made with Stork Club’s award-winning Rye.</p><p>About forty miles southeast of Berlin lies a lovely park called the <em>Spreewald </em>— a wetland reserve criss-crossed with canals and marshes fed by the <em>Spree River.</em> This is also home to the first Rye Whiskey distillery in <em>Germany </em>— the Spreewald Distillery. Three friends who owned a media agency together drove down to sample Whiskey there in <em>2015</em>, and when the then-owner mentioned that he was looking for a successor, they sold their agency and launched a new dream. After significant updates and a new Whiskey still, they began to release their signature Spirits under the Stork Club brand.</p><p><em>Stork Club Whiskey Sour</em> is based on their<em> award-winning flagship</em> Rye Whiskey that’s crafted with local German rye. After maturation in a combination of<em> American oak and German Napoleon oak</em>, lemon juice and sugar are added. What comes out in the end, is a perfectly balanced 40-proof Whiskey Sour that’s all but ready to drink. For a perfect cocktail, shake it with some ice, strain, pour over ice, garnish with some lemon zest, and enjoy!</p>
