<p>A great and adventurous Czech blend of two grapes across two vintages: Gewurtztraminer that was harvested in 2020, and Chardonnay from 2016. The Gewurtztraminer spends a whole month on its skins, whereas the Chardonnay only sees a day – giving the wine a nice balance of white and orange wine vibes. They used a mix of local acacia and oak barrels to mature the wine for a year, letting all the flavours mix and meld and the tannins get nice and soft. It has concentrated yet soft tannins, and flavours of peach, orange, exotic fruit and baking spices, with a medium body and ample acidity. This is an ideal choice for pairing with spicy food or other bold flavours.</p><p>Syfany are a Czech winery that source everything locally, including the acacia wood for their barrels. They also take a natural approach, using native yeasts and minimising sulphur use at bottling, if any.
