<p>A rare and ultra-aged treasure from the most awarded Irish Whiskey. </p><p>The Teeling Whiskey distillery is pretty new. When they opened up shop in the heart of <em>Ireland’s </em>capital in <em>2015</em>, they were<em> the first new Spirit maker</em> in Dublin for over 125 years. But don’t be fooled by their age: Jack and <em>Stephen Teeling</em> come from a famous and ancient line of distillers. The place where the new Teeling distillery stands used to belong to Walter Teeling, who established his production back in <em>1782</em>. Now, the dynamic siblings receive awards left and right.</p><p>For the marvelous <em>Vintage Reserve Collection</em>, which also features the award-winning 24YO and 28YO, <em>Jack Teeling </em>crafted another splendid offering: <em>Teeling 30 Year Old Single Malt Whiskey</em>, one of the <em>oldest Irish Single Malts in existence</em>. The Spirit spent long decades in ex-Bourbon casks before they gave it an elegant finish in wine barrels that used to hold Sauternes, known for the sweet and complex influence. The 30YO has a luxurious bouquet that conjures images of vast orchards and chocolate while it indulges the palate with flavors of peaches, apricots, and an echo of smoke.
