<p>A full-on Sherry experience. </p><p>Jack Teeling founded the Teeling Whiskey Company in 2012, with a mission to challenge the norm by crafting Irish Whiskey with <em>more depth of personality and character</em> than the current mass-market options. Jack comes from a family of long tradition associated with Irish Whiskey. The Teeling family have been crafting Whisky since <em>1782</em>. More than 200 year of malt-making tradition is no joke. All their products are quality through and through – delicious and well matured – and we’ll chalk that up to experience.</p><p>The Teelings love to produce in small batches and meddle in the craft of some <em>inventive cask wizardry. </em>They have a fresh perspective to give, and<em> the Brabazon Bottling Series </em>reaffirms their continued dedication to creating new and exciting expressions of Irish whiskey and in particular, expanding the underdeveloped Irish Single Malt category. <em>Why the name Brabazon?</em> Well, the Brabazon family presided over the Liberties area of Dublin City, when the Teeling distillery first started out way back in the 18th century, and this is<em> their tribute</em> to those important times.</p><p>But enough about the past, let’s focus on the present because that’s exactly what this Whiskey represents – a gift! A gift for everyone who appreciates history, who appreciates innovation and most importantly – who appreciates fine Whiskey. The Teeling Brabazon Bottling Series No.1 Irish Whiskey is <em>a limited edition expression</em> that sets out to explore the full impact of fortified wine cask maturation on the flavor of Whisky. The first release was composed of different sizes and styles of ex-sherry casks. Teeling wanted to create <em>a full-on Sherry experience,</em> and that’s precisely what you get.
