<p>:A fresh white wine with idiosyncratic, zesty currant and gooseberry aromas, often “green” notes (like freshly cut grass), and an inimitable minty tone with a supportive acid structure. Intense golden yellow, spicy aromas of passion fruit, kiwi and gooseberry on the nose.Grape variety:Sauvignon – South Tyrol DOCProduction area:The slopes of Wolfsthurn Castle in Andrian (320 m) are on the west side of the Etsch Valley, opposite Terlan. In the afternoon and evening, the mighty Gantkofel offers a refreshing cooling. The soil of the scree cone is loose and rich in skeletons and well aerated. (Bolzano porphyry).Vinification:The grapes are harvested at the beginning of September in top quality. The wine is matured in steel tanks, which gives it its incredible green freshness, yet the wine is rich and very spicy.Food pairing:Traditionally, Sauvignon in South Tyrol is served with asparagus with Bolzano sauce and ham. However, it also goes excellently with all seafood and Mediterranean cuisine, intense dishes such as a roasted fish or seafood.Serving temperature:11 – 13°C.Ageing potential:more than 3 years.Bottle size:750 ml – 75 cl – 0,75 lt.Allergens:wine can contain sulphites.Producer:Stachlburg WineryThe altitude of 650m demands special grape varieties, which, particularly on the Partschinser soil on the sunny south-facing hillside, produce exceptionally intense wines. With great care, all wines are aged and rested in our cellar in steel tanks or in barrels. The wines are generally characterized by a particular fruitiness, an elegant acidity and a delicate structure. At times, also the fortunate exposition to the sun position and the careful thinning can produce fairly full-bodied wines. Other locations are found in the low-lying village of Andrian where with an altitude of only 300m, there is a privileged climate for rich and mineral wines.Stachlburg – Baron von KrippVia-Peter-Mitterhofer 2IT – 39020 Partschins (BZ)sigmund.kripphTerlaner Sauvignon 2020/22 – 12,5% vol.
