<p>Terre degli Svevi Serpara is a wine that oozes Gothic charm. The grape it’s made from, Aglianico, is often referred to as the Barolo of the South, because of capability of producing full, structured, age-worthy wines. Once you’ve uncorked this brooding bottle, the wine is a vibrant, glowing ruby red colour with and inviting complex nose. There are distinct notes of morello cherry backed up with vanilla and sweet spice. Despite its structured tannins, the wine is smooth and amazingly balanced, but with plenty of guts and personality.
