<p>:Brilliant ruby red in colour, it has a bouquet of good breadth and discreet persistence. The scents are vinous when young and then change with ageing to ripe plums on a slightly herbaceous background. The taste is dry, soft, balanced with a pleasantly bitter end. Fermentation and maceration of the marc for a long period with repeated daily foliation. Cold pressing of the must by natural decantation. 80% is aged for 18 months in large 60 hl Slavonian oak casks and 20% in barriques for at least 6 months.
