<p>Scotland and the Caribbean in one bottle.</p><p><em>The Balvenie distillery</em> is the life work of <em>William Grant</em>. Born in <em>Dufftown, Scotland</em>, William began his life as a <em>cattle herder</em>, and later worked as a <em>shoemaker apprentice</em> until he became a bookkeeper at the Mortlach distillery. There he found his <em>love of making</em> the Water of Life.</p><p>After twenty years of studying, and <em>mastering</em> the trade, he bought a field near <em>Balvenie castle</em> and laid the <em>foundations</em> for what was later to become the <em>Balvenie Distillery</em>. His work gave this Speyside single malt a true mark of quality and uniqueness that has been respected and <em>cherished</em> ever since.</p><p><em>The Balvenie 14 Year Old Caribbean Cask</em> has been matured in traditional oak casks for 14 years and finished in casks that held <em>Caribbean Rum</em> before.
