But their success has allowed them to build out their own distillery in Carlow — in the heart of Ireland’s southern farm country — where they make eight versions of The Irishman Whiskies, six Writers’ Tears blends, and two varieties of Irish Cream Liqueur. </p><p><em>The Irishman Marsala Cask Finished Single Malt </em>continues the majestic flight of acclaimed Marsala Cask Finish expressions with this unique blend of aged Single Malt and aged Single Pot Still Whiskey. Triple-distilled, as all Irish Whiskey should be, aged and matured in <em>American oak Bourbon casks</em> and <em>Sherry Oloroso butts</em>, this Irishman spent an additional 15 months inside <em>Marsala hogshead casks</em>.
