Over the years the company has grown quite a bit, including more than three dozen house brands and an untold number of private label offerings. Now owned by the Russell family, they run the gamut from Whiskies to Vodkas to Rums, but <em>their core business is still Scotch Whisky.</em></p><p>One of their brands is <em>The Six Isles. </em>The Six Isles is special. It’s the only brand that<em> brings together Single Malts from the 6 ancient islands</em> of Scotland in one blend: <em>Islay, Skye, Orkney, Mull, Arran, and Jura</em>. You could say it’s the wilderness that these Whiskies have in common. Each sip is the essence of island life, from the “dawn breaking over the Black Cuillin of Skye, waves crashing at nightfall on Jura, or spirits whispering at Orkney’s standing stones”.</p><p><em>The Six Isles Batch Strength</em> is the truest reflection of the islands. This blended Malt Whisky comes at you at<em> batch strength to show you the character of Island Malts</em>. Weighing in at a respectable <em>58%</em> ABV, the strength brings out even more maritime notes and vibrantly fruity hints. A super satisfying sipper, expect salty peat smoke, green apple, fresh lime, vanilla, banana, and a touch of black pepper.</p>
