<p>About Tobelos Founded in 1999, Bodegas Tobelos is situated in the municipality of Briñas. This project came to fruition through the ambition of one man, Ricardo Reinoso, the initiator of this exciting venture. The winery, designed architecturally in a uniquely modern and minimalist style, is set into the hillside that runs down to the River Ebro, adapting itself to the terrain but breaking away from the classic style of a winery building. The bodega is perched on the top of a steep slope with breathtaking views of the vineyards and a promontory of the River Ebro. It is the first Bodega you arrive at on entering the denominacion of Rioja from the north-west. The style of the Tobelos wines are positioned midway between the classical Rioja and the modern concept. ‘Tobelos’ comes from Tubol, a tribe who founded the people of Tobelos, better known as the Iberians.Viura 90%, Garnacha Blanca 10%.The grapes are selected and harvested by hand. Grape cooling for 24 hours in a chamber. The grapes are fermented by stirring its lees in oak barrels for 10 months.
