<p> Two types of wood are used to mature Tomatin 18 YO: Refill Hogsheads and Oloroso Sherry Butts. The distillate remains to age in the two types for a period of approximately 15 years and 6 months. At this point everything is mixed and left to age again in Oloroso Sherry Butts for a further 2 years and 6 months. It is bottled at 46% and unchill filtered. </p><p><p>Aroma: Bursts of delicious sweet sherry with hints of fresh apples, cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup and a hint of heather smoke. </p></p><p>Palate: Sweet and honeyed at first with a woody side.
