<p>Valpolicella RipassoClassico Superiore, Giuseppe Lonardi, Veneto, Italy, 2022 Grapes: 75% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 5% Molinara, organic, 12 months ageing in small (225L) oak barrelsColour: deep ruby red. Nose: delicate, with fruit and cherries. Taste: dry, delicately soft and slightly bitter.Elegant dry red wine obtained with the traditional Ripasso technique, that is letting the young wine resulting from grapes pressed immediately after the harvest undergo a second fermentation on the Amarone skins.This operation increases the alcohol content of the future wine, allowing to perceive all its organoleptic characteristics even when opening the bottle eight years after the harvest. It is made from the typical Valpolicella grapes Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara, cultivated in our vineyards located at 350 meters above sea level, on the hills of Marano.
